Stetson Men's Stallion 100X Straw Western Cowboy Hat - Breathable & Durable for Outdoor Ranchers, Rodeo, and Summer Fashion

So this is what I was afraid of. This hat is not at all what an authentic Stetson should feel and look like. It seems to be a reproduction. It’s labeled Made in Mexico - no offense to Mexico but the quality is under par. The lettering is not engraved on the sweatband like the authentic American Stetson hats I normally purchase from my local acavender’s stores. It came with a loose hatband. The harband’s buckle is crooked. It’s not even a buckle but a cheap decoration. I am just disappointed because I thought of purchasing more merch from this vendor and this was sort of like a test purchase.Beware! Not a true Stetson quality hat. This hat seems like a case of one company paying another company for the right to use it's name. The label inside says Stallion by Stetson collection. It did NOT come in a hat box. The shape of the hat and look of the straw is actually pretty nice, but the 100X straw is not the true quality of a normal Stetson straw. The fit is a bit tight, but that is okay with me since I like my hats to fit snug. The sweatband is not real leather and causes the forehead to sweat more. I am not convinced the hat band is real leather and the three piece buckle is very obviously cheap plastic. A bit of the silver tone was already chipped off. For the quality, I feel I overpaid for this hat. I would have returned it, but the seller does not offer free returns and I don't dislike the hat enough to lose money returning it. Overall the hat looks good, but if you look at it closely you can tell it is not the same high quality you would normally expect from a Stetson.Very nice hat. I have had a Resistol straw hat for a number of years. It became so dirty and beat up that my wife insisted that I replace it. I I decided to try a Stetson and liked the looks of this one. There were a few loose ends in the stitching at the edge of the brim, but those were easily cut off. The fit was as expected based on the size chart provided, and delivery was speedy. This one by far is of the best quality. Although the previous two were also 100x. The look, form, and feel of this hat is above my previous expectations.
