Went for a 50 minute walk in the rain and stayed completely dry! I was very happy with the amount of coverage the hat provided.i had a similar design from a different company and i laundered it and it was 100% ruined. Got this one for golf in crap weather. very happy with it. I still hope it doesn't rain, though
